To disable comments on new articles, visit the Settings tab, then Discussion from the left sidebar of your WordPress admin panel.
When you are on the page, find and uncheck the “Allow people to post comments on new articles” option. After this, find the save changes button and click to confirm the changes.
Note that unchecking the option means you have disabled comments on all future posts you make on your blog.
Disable Comments on a Specific Post/Page
