  1. Launch your favourite browser and visit www.pdfescape.com.
  2. Upload the PDF file you want to edit using the site uploader. The document is then loaded and you can proceed to make edits.

There are a good number of editing tools present on the website that you can use ad make necessary changes to your document.

Finally, after making changes to the file, you can then save and re-download as PDF to your device.

Steps to Edit PDF Files Offline

  1. Start by installing the downloaded copy of the LibreOffice software.
  2. After proper installation, launch the software.
  3. Then, click Open File and select your PDF file. The software will load it in a format you can easily edit. However, the page elements might lose their formats in the loading process.
  4. After making necessary changes, select File and then, Export as PDF. Finally, choose the directory where you want it saved.

Merging PDFs

If you have several related PDF documents on your device, you probably need to combine those files for easy access and reference. Also, you will be able to share the files easily with people around.

On Android

  1. Start by installing PDFelement from Google Play here.
  2. Launch the app after installation and proceed to Configure and allow the app access to the downloads folder.
  3. Then, from the main menu, find and tap the three horizontal lines and tap Merge documents.
  4. Choose the PDF file you want to merge. Further, to add more files, tap the + label.
  5. After selecting all the PDF files, initiate the merging process by tapping Merge.
  6. Then, tap Save and you can proceed by choosing to edit the new PDF name.
  7. Finally, tap Create. Your combined PDF file will be saved automatically to your downloads.

On iOS

  1. Open your Files app and select all the PDF files.
  2. Then, tap the three dots from the bottom-right and then Create PDF.

  5. Wait till the file conversion is done and you can download to your device storage.

On Mac

  1. Open the PDF file in Preview and wait till it is loaded.
  2. Then, click File and then Export.
  3. Now, select the Quartz Filter and change from None to Reduce File Size.
  4. Finally, save the compressed PDF file.

On Windows

  1. Start by installing PDF Compressor Software on your PC running a recent version of Windows.
  2. Launch the app and click Add File.
  3. Proceed to add the PDF file you want to compress and then, select Open.
  4. Specify the quality to be retained after compression.
  5. Finally, click Compress. The compressed PDF file will then be saved to your PC storage.
